Has anybody tried a body color Joey Mod?

Well, I was gonna add except for black because we pretty much know what that looks like. An amulet red Joey Mod would be interesting though.

may look good with certain colors, but I have not really warmed up to the look.

amulet red interests me the most. i say doing the chrome "reflector" in amulet and the rest in a good satin black would look AWESOME. (for that type of job i would leave all of the chrome bulb surround chrome and not paint the sides of them black like on my joey mod.)

someone should get the chrome piece wrapped in CF. that'd be a nice little touch -- and for the record, I'm not a fan of CF whoring... but it looks good as trim in certain places (like door blades and the interior) and i think so long as it didnt get too hot and cloud or yellow that it would look really really good as a small accent like that.

ill have a set of oem xenons up for sale shortly if anyone is interested...pass. side in excellent condition, the drivers side is a bit scuffed up and chipped...

what's going rate for oem single xen housings? no bulbs. I need to unload mine...

I was thinking of doing that, but decided I'd like to try flat black instead, for a brilliant red on black colour scheme (black windshield washer caps, black headlights housing, tinted tails, black door blades, time attack rims, blacked out grills, etc)
I might try photoshopping™ it first.

Looks pretty good, color seems a little off. I think it would look way better with the cc mod. Got to hand it to you for trying something different!

Yeah I knew it was a photoshop. Still it's a good idea and hope somebody tries it. My car is Atlas Grey so it wouldn't be to noticable in that color. Good luck....

I was looking at those B6 halo headlights and I think it would be a better candidate for this mod. The more a look at them and picture body color match the more I like it.

not that I would ever buy those halo lights but do they actually work like they show .thats kind of cheap.

^^no during the day it has no halo look! but it has awesome side markers and LED's!
