Tommy's S5: Practice shoot.

Hey guys, new here. My name's Wes, 19, and I'm a service advisor at Audi with Tommy but I do photography on the side. Did a brief practice shoot with the S5 on Saturday after work while the car was clean. Waiting a week or two for the real shoot. Enjoy!

nice detail shots, but I think for the most part all the shots are cropped a bit too closley.

The last two really do not do the car much justice and it feels like the car is an afterthought. Try setting the car in the bottom of the frame with more visual space around, but also alowing us to create a feel of where the car is, but stull focus on teh car.

Thanks for the comments, I should be at the meet this Saturday. And yea, this is just the practice shoot so I had to crop the photos to keep certain things out of the background that were not visually pleasing to the eye. Don't worry though, the pictures from the real shoot will be 10 times better looking.

Are you looking for feedback? If so,

Pics are very detailed and sharp, but are taken when the sun is too high. This gives you lots of shadows and gives the pics an unnatural color. You should try and take your pics at dusk or dawn which will give you more natural light.

If you must take in the sun, try and get to the opposite side of the shadows so they aren't in the picture and also use filters to lessen the effects of the bright sun.

Definitely needs a bit more aggression on the offset.

I think the car looks perfect. I wouldn't change a thing that's on there to be honest. Spacers or not, the wheels look and fit the car very well.

Car looks fantastic; beautiful example of an S5 and definitely my color of choice. Have you considered rear spacers? I love the way the car looks but I do agree the rear wheels could be a little wider.

I have considered spacers but have seen to many cars with vibration issues. If you don't get a large spacer that is hubcentric they are a PITA

Even rear spacers? Not doubting you, but I thought it was the fronts that caused the shimmy if not hubcentric....

We had problems on the rear with 2 RS4's that we had winter wheels on. I'll figure something out though. Thanks guys!

Car looks gorgeous, but like a few others said, the lighting looks less than desirable. But given the conditions, nice shots.
