Thought id post up some pics

Well i spent most of the day yesterday washing and waxing my a4. I havent posted any pics of my car on here yet so i thought id throw some up to see what you guys think so far. The mods that i have done so far include: VDO boost gauge, k&n cone filter, B6 sport wheels refinished in a dark charcole, & painted grill to match the wheels. There is still alot of things that i want to do to the car but i have to let my funds build back up first. Lists of mods to come next is to drop it and get it chipped.

Thanks! I cant wait to drop it. Just still not sure if i want to do springs and shocks or go coilovers. My budget really only allows springs and shocks unless i go witht the vmaxx coilovers, but im just not sure if thats a good idea because i heard mixed opinions about them. Id like to debadge the back except for the rings but i allready tried it once and whoever had the car before had the trunk painted and they just painted aroung the badges instead of taking them off so theres still an outline around them which doesent look good at all so i put them back on. Im eventualy planning on two toneing the car with the same color as the wheels so whenver i do that thats when the badges will come of.

Yeah im happy with the way the wheels came out. I got lucky and found them at a junk yard for $200. They were all scracthed up and had some nicks in them but i just spent about a month (working on a wheel each saturday) sanding them down till they were all smooth again, then i had my dad paint them for me, he owns a body shop which helps out alot. Wasnt sure if i wanted to keep them silver or do a charcole color, but i think i made the right choice, no one else has a set like them which is kinda what im goin for with the car, i like originality.

Looks clean man, real clean. Drop it and get some new ecode or depo headlights. Looks like they are 2 piece, ebay has depo's for like $150 shipped. I think either black or clear housing would look good on your car. Good work so far man!

Thanks. Yeah they are two piece, its a 98.5. Im going to a swap meet next saturday to see what all i can find. Headlights are something that i want to upgrade in the future, just other things i want to do first.

I was going to say paint the lowers too, but they kinda match the wheels. So then I thought, I'd leave them the way they are! :)

I thought the same thing. Originaly i was going to paint the lowers, then i put the wheels on and it kinda matches so then i thought id just leave it. Eventually though id like to get the s4 front bumper which wont look right with the black lowers so theyll probably get painted then.

i had a dream last night i painted my wheels and rings that exact same color! looks pretty freakin' good! very clean...i say smoke your side markers and get the depo headlights but leave the lowers alone!

Definately should drop it. In fact I have V-Maxx coilovers on mine which I will be selling in 1 or 2 months. If I were to give a review I would say V-Maxx is a good suspension. I want my setup more stiff. V-maxx are soft for my tastes. Otherwise, I have receipts and everything. I bought them in January. PM me in 1 or 2 months if you want to get them cheap.

Wow, that looks great. As posted...Drop = 100000x times sexier. You could go with justs springs for awhile while you save up for shocks, ///D has race springs w/ S4 shocks and haven't blown yet so you'll be good for awhile
