is there any tool that actually makes adjusting coilovers easy? the tool I have sucks balls

there should be something that physically clamps on the collar, then you should be able to put a breaker bar on it and turn it without any issues

anything like that exist? There seems to be a ton of differnt types of spanner wrenches... anyone buy one they are happy with?

If you are looking for more leverage what i did was took a hallow bard that slips on the end of it. I wish they made some sort of ratching tool, now that would be a good idea. And as far as i know there is nothing better.

    Re: Coilover adjustment tool question

seems to me like it wouldn't be too hard to make a tool that could clamp down.

get two wrenches, cut the handle off the 2nd one, and drill holes so that you can bolt it to the first wrench, and then wrap it around and pin it in place..

it'd be a pain to get clamped and then un-clamped everytime you needed to move it (unless you have any ideas on how to make it into a ratchet-type device like suggested earlier)

then i'd just stick a big steel or lead pipe over the handle to get good leverage.

Aw man... I clicked on this post thinking that there was some "magical coilover tool" that didn't bust knuckles and suck balls!
There should be a chain-style ratchet tool invented that could unhook and wrap around the ring like how an oil filter wrench or bicycle chain works, then ratchet away until you are done!
    Think it's possible?
