CVT tranny has gone into limp mode, WTF?

My girlfriend just picked up a CPO 05.5 A4 FronTrak with 32k miles; she's had it for about 3 weeks. She’s only driven it for 1 week due to the dealer that sold her the car not doing a good job on putting the car back to CPO standards. First day she got the car she got a check engine light, took it back to the dealer and they said it was some sort of valve, she picked the car back up and guess what the check engine light comes back on as soon as she leaves my house so she took the car to another dealer that's closer to her house and they said the PCV is the culprit and they replaced the PCV with newest version so she should be good with it not going bad like the previous versions. I got the APR flash last week and boy does it make a nice difference with the power she's been driving the car with the flash on and off just see if there is any difference in the gas mileage and now the car has been driving like a dream. Yesterday I was driving the car with the APR flash off, just cruising back to her house which is about a 20 mile trip on the highway, we made a stop to get something to eat and as soon as I pulled into the parking lot, I notice in the center display all the letters for the transmission gear selection light up like this:

Found out in the handbook that the transmission is in limp mode and that car needs to be taken to a dealer ASAP She just can't win this car Back to the dealer it goes on Monday to see why the transmission has gone into limp mode. Any of you guys with a flash and the CVT tranny having issues

Put it this way and look at the bright side; at least the tranny's covered while it's still under the mfg warranty. Better sooner than later.
I am assuming this was a purchase?

Well the stealership called my girl back and they said it's the transmission ECU, it's not communicating with the main ECU. I got kind of scared because they had to send the ECU info to Audi, but all came out ok It's gonna take a week for the tranny ECU to come in and it'll be a 3 hour install.

Funny thing is she asked the service advisor if it would be ok to put an intake on the car and he said no it will void her warranty That really blows
