Help with CEL on A3 2.0T with APR Stage 2+

I recently had the APR 3" turbobck installed on my A3 2.0T with the exhaust specific software. This was installed last week after taking off the GHL 3" turboback exhaust with APR stage 2 software because I honestly didn't fell any power increase and hated the tone. The APR has been a huge increase in power but I threw a CEL after about 15 minutes.

I was driving home 15 minutes after the exhaust was installed and hit about 120 going from 4th-6th on DSG. I then threw the CEL. I went back to the shop and had it scanned and it said "low fuel pressure". It was cleared and I took off. I again got on the car and was cruising real fast and no CELs even after going through the same routine. A few days later when I had the chance to hit it again I got another CEL. I dropped it off at the dealer sat morning and I haven't heard from then yet. Today is sunday. Hopefully I'll get it back monday.

After the GHL was taken off and the APR was put on it was flashed again. The exhaust was put on shoddily. Not any leaks and no loss pf power but just not reall straight. Could it be something wrong with the 2nd flash? The car is an '08 so I think I have the uprated fule system components, right? I think I have the B cam but the car only has 3K miles so it couldn't be a worn cam anyway, right? I also think all '08s have the higher pressure fuel regulator. Could any damage have been dome during the install? It didn't send any CEL with the GHL but it wasn't real quick. It was ALOT quicker with the APR exhaust and software so could it be it that the program needs to much fuel that the car can't meet even with the uprated fuel components, if it does have them? The program couldn't be asking for too much fuel, right?

Any help would really be appreciated. Thanks.

I don't think it's fuel related.......... I threw the same cell after installing the APR turboback. But it was because I was still on stage1 software, which I flashed to stage 2 a couple days later, which got rid of the CEL.

But you already had the stage2 software from when you had the GHL exhaust on, so the only thing that I can think of is that the stage2 software had "learned" the specifics of the GHL and had gotten used to its flow rates and what not, then things changed when you bolted on the APR.

But you mentioned you re-flashed again after installing the APR? Hmmmm, maybe check all the physical connections again?

you may need a new fuel pump. I've heard of a number pf people with APR whos stock fuel pump isnot able to keep up with the upgraded software. APR has their own upgraded pump I believe.

Check out the 2.0T forum on Vortex, tons of info there

Yeah but isn't APRs software designed within the parameters of the stock fuel pump for up to srage 2? I mean, if the pump is not defective shouldn't it not need a new fuel pump? I mean, why go for the extra few horses and ft/lbs if the stock pump can't handle it? What if like in the first reply the software isn't adapted to the APR exhaust. I asked the guy to reflash it and he SAID he did but he's been a real hard to work with prick that I'd never go back to and when I have all my bugs worked out will warn this forum not to use him.
