need a new clutch but not sure which one to get, the only mods i have on my car so far are (revo chip, FMIC, and DV) more mods to come in the future, what clutch do you guys recommend???

like to maintain a somewhat soft pedal.

    thank you

    thank you
Any of the South Bend clutch kits will do, everything up to stage 4 will pretty much have a stock pedal feel. If you are going to stay with the power you make now I would suggest a stage 3, stage 3+(custom modified stage 3) or stage 4 depending on if your going to use the stock flywheel or go to a lwfw. You can PM me if you need more info on clutch setups.

    Re: need a new clutch

I'd recommend using a sprung hub/disc for street use. LWFW is the only way to go. South Bend(DXD racing for imports) has clutch sets labelled for "street" and for "track", for obvious reasons avoid the track if you're street driving. If you've driven a car with and unsprung disc before and liked it, then go for it. Most of us Audi owners have the "glass ass" and complain if they go bigger, stiffer or tighter than OEM.

My SPEC stg 2+ has probably 10-15% more pedal pressure than stock, but I also removed the helper spring after that. I can do stop and go traffic all day w/o any issues. A lot of people told me not to go with a SPEC setup, the SB/DXD setups are a safe bet and plenty of longevity.

Another vote for southbend stage 3. A lot of folks on this forum run them - they hold a lot of power for moderate tuning and have basically the same pedal feel as stock.
