    Well here it is...

With ALL the help of the (2) AMC boys, and XJinCT here and there lol, here's the fitment of the front mount.

We think that we can trim up that pipe on the pass. side and weld it together to get the best fit possible, maybe throw the side grilles back in. Anyways, thanks again guys it was fun having the sleepover lol.

    Re: Well here it is...

thanks! yeah, for sure. i like how it looks though to be honest it BARKS now doesnt meow hahaha. i think the best thing to do after going through the install of this is just laugh. i would almost say that custom piping is very worth it. im sure JHMs kit is going to be nice, if its realllly sweet maybe i ll get rid of this piping and install that, ya know.

    Re: Well here it is...

you can get the pipes tucked a bit more if you cut the plastic part next to the rebar braces like this, it wont hurt anything

then trim your pipes more here

then they shouldn't stick out so much

    Re: Well here it is...

I would remove the front plate mount and trim out that area, otherwise the front mount isn't going to do much good. Some good side mounts cool better if the front mount isn't getting hit by much air.

you want my help? True thought??

Junk this whole set up. Though it provides low IAT's up front, it is also shown to get heat soak on really hot days. Youll never get fogs to fit with the piping. If you dont want to cut the bumper, you wont have the whole surface exposed, which though you will get air up there it wont be direct, so their will be np pressure behind it.

If you do want to keep it go with either 2.25" piping, or even 2".

^^ he doesnt want fog lights hense he sold em, hes already driven it from my house to his in 85+% temps with no heat soak so im happy it came out good but i personally think it should be fine without cutting the filler plate area it just doesnt look good at all and i doubt there is a huge difference cut or not

I was in Greenwich today. Definitely not 80's. It was colder yesterday then today. And it hasn't reached 80 yet in Stamford yet which I know for a fact, I doubt Greenwich is 6 degrees hotter then Stamford.

thanks man, yeah i will probably end up having a shop get some custom 2.25 or 2 inch piping as you said. you have to understand with the heatsoak thing lol, is that, if i hit WOT in my car once a week its a lot. im getting the fueling soon maybe that will change but i bet it will only make it less to be honest. i just coudnt justify 1000+ on intercoolers when i just dont use them like that. on a hot day i wont even do a pull unless @ night haha. i do all of this just for my enjoyment, getting on a ramp and nailing it is THRILLING to me . to each their own right! but thanks for the input i will more than likely ditch this piping after fueling. just want to get that juice in there!

im a ricer at heart and i loved the cutout. LOL (i do own a 350z powered sentra haha)

there really isn't much heatsoak in the intercooler just the engine bay from lack of heat shields because of my custom dp's.

did you install an electric rad fan? <-- i recommend this
