ok so i turned my car on yesterday and all was well..i start driving and i want to turn on my wiper blades.. but nothing works... i then try to turn on my headlights and no go, turn sig. the same, my horn doesn't work either, and neither do my inter. gauge lights work.... i did a vag-com check and the
J519 unit came up as bad... 1 question is-- how much does that part cost? 2nd question.. is it a DIY fit or something i would have to take tot he dealership or a shop to do? any help would be nice as i can no longer drive my car at night

Re: Electrical problem: no headlights, turns, break lights..

I had a strange problem where my driver side headlight would come on whenever i did anything like unlock the car or open the door and stay on for like 5 minutes i cleared all fault codes still nothing i took the neg battery term off and still nothing i drive around with my headlights on and it finally went off! i don't know if you are experiencing something like this.. i would think it if doesn't correct itself in a day then you might want to get it look in or look more into the module..
