Special Edition Package?

Hi

I went to the dealership today and they told me that they had an ibis white special edition A4 with the s-line and titanium package...
I know whats in the s-line and titanium package, but whats included in the "special edition"? I've read older posts and have narrowed it down to just one year of sirius radio, is that really it?

Also, is this car going to be equipped with halogens or bi-xenons?

I should have asked the salesperson but forgot. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

spec edition should come w/ xenon, which are not adaptive unless u get the tech package. also comes w/ s-line exterior standard, which used to be an option on prior A4s. overall i believe it is the convenience package and exterior s-line which makes up the special edition, someone correct me if i am wrong.

Thanks for the fast responses. What is the tech package? I have not heard of it and don't see it anywhere in the brochure.

Can anyone else confirm if the special edition includes halogens or bixenons?

The convenience package is an option on the SE, which adds 2100 to the msrp. The SE gives you the premium package (leather and heated seats), plus exterior s-line styling, and 1 year sirius. Supposedly, mettalic paint comes at no extra charge, but dealers are still marking up the price for dolphin gray.

Does anyone know if the aluminum beltline is mesh or brushed on the SE?

For 2008 all A4s come standard the exterior "S-line" treatments sin the 18" wheels and sport suspension.

The SE package consists of heated leather seats, 1 year of sirius sat radio, sunroof and no-charge metallic paint.

US-spec A4s since 2005.5 did not come with xenon headlights that were not adaptive. The package names have changed from 2005.5-2006-2007/8 but the only one that has the adaptive xenon headlights is the convenience package ($2,100).

Ah yes, it goes come with those as well. Forgot to slide that in there!

18" wheels and sport suspension are not standard in the SE. 17" 9-spoke y rims are standard.

my dad just picked up the SE.... the standard aluminum trim is beltline meshed.... only if u get the sport package is it solid/brushed. normally my dad isn't the type of guy to spring for the extra cause the standard is good enough but i convinced him and now he tells me he would have regretted it if he didn't get the sport pkg (18'' wheels, sport susp, sport steering, brushed trim)

Thanks for the info. I really don't care for the meshed aluminum. I may consider the sport or titanium pkg.
