    Compression Test results

Used an old Actron to perform a compression test and got:

    (Cylinders 1-4)

    180-140-160-180

These numbers are an average of 6 timed tests on each cylinder.

Drop some oil into Cyl 2 and retest?

Looks like a call to Mike Hood may be in order, after my ship comes in....hopefully I can get my boost issues resolved and the motor/K03S hold out long enough for me to accomplish what I want to do with them before upgrading to a 2.0l or whatever else.

why average them over 6 time? battery didn't get any weaker as you kept going? those numbers are pretty far apart...

Nope, had a charger hooked up to it for that reason.

    Tested in order of 1-4.

Yeah, the numbers are far apart...which is why I'm looking for insight...

    Re: Compression Test results

Yeah you want to drop in a table spool of oil into cylinder 2 and 3 to see if the readings get higher. If it doesn't then you will want to have a leak down test done to see if it is the rings or valves that might be leaking.
