The ones that come with the program from APR are Bosch 386cc I believe, so 380's should be fine. TT225's also work too.

Re: 2002 APR Stage 1+ with 380cc injectors???

the Bosch 386cc ones run properly with the APR 1+ software. That was the injector APR designed the software for and it has the proper spray pattern for this motor. GIAC has a couple injectors they can run (more flexable).

Honestly you can run what ever upgraded injector you want with the 1+ software, just don't expect it to run properly. I am always amazed why people insist on running non-compatible parts to save $50. Do it right the first time, especially on important things like injectors.

Yeah, you need Bosch 386, not the cheap 380's

bosch 386 cc = tt225 injectors. And yes, you need them to run the APR program properly.

Re: 2002 APR Stage 1+ with 380cc injectors???

    yeah you need them alright

I run genessis 380cc injectors, they work fine and hve to had a problem for 6+ months. The injectors you want are either tt225 injectors or genessis 380cc injectors. Now make sure you get approved for the loan on tt225s, they are ~$400 or genessis 380cc $250. And the guy that said do things right for $50, well my freind the search function is your freind, and its normally a $100 difference, for something that works just as good.

You are right, the search is your freind.

Many 2002 models had fault codes when trying alternative injectors. The Genessis 380cc model was one of the ones that works most times, but not every time. The 2002 model was a very particular car. APR went thru several interations of the software to make sure the TT225/Bosch 386cc injectors worked properly. Then again i am sure you already knew that. Your car may run fine on the 380cc genessis injectors, but can you garantee his will? Or when/if he has an issue are you going to help him out when APR tells him to buy the right injector to run their file?

If you had a 2002 model year are you going to risk buying injectors that don't always worked with the APR software to save a couple $$'s. I doubt it. But then again maybe you could spend $250 and get lucky. Or then again maybe not.

As for the $50 comment, so what. $50, $100. Who cares. It is chump change in the big picture. TT Injectors can easily be had for ~$80/each.

    http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...2002+lean+code

Look through that thread, how many 02's there are using tt225 injectors and have gotten codes.... I think i counted 7-9 something like that looks like the tt225 are the right answer

Im not saying genesis injectors won't but i have not had a problem nor have many othere people.

Oh might trailboss master and god all knowing. I bow down to you.. I wish all knew as much as you..

But I am not going to continue debating this with you. The OP asked if the 380's are going to work. The answer is maybe, you and i both know this. But Atleast if you have the issue with the TT225 injectors you can go back to APR and get assistance, good luck with getting assistance with the wrong injectors.
