    APR - ESP and ABS

I bought my B6 S4 about a month ago and few days later I figured out it was flashed with APR already. I've had APR before so I tried the cruise control and sure enough CEL started to flash multiple programs. Finally today I had a chance to go have it scanned to see what is on there and I found Stock, 91, 93, Valet and security lockout.
Anyway, I switched to 93 program and started the car but my ESP (ASR) and ABS are nor turned off (lights were on and stayed on). I have not seen this before on any other APR car although my experiences we always with VW's. Anyone got the same thing?
I'll have to wait until Monday to call APR and see if they know what's up.

Typically if those 2 (ESP and ABS) lights are on simultaneously, it means that something is wrong with the MAF sensor.

I would recommend that you scan the codes.

The lights are on only when APR is on. If I put it back in stock mode they don't come on.

Until you scan the codes, there isn't any advice that we can give you. Did you do a throttle body alignment after you got the new software?

The stock mode is still an APR program, its just coded to replicate the behavior of the factory software.

PUt the car back in "apr mode" and if the lights are on then turn the car off and start it back up again. If they go away, all is fine. If not, get it scanned.

Re: APR - ESP and ABS

This happens to me every single time I switch programs. I always have to turn it off and on twice. I also don't get the flashing lights for confirmation when I start up again, but she revs to 7500 still, so I know it's working.
