Well I have to say goodbye...

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
to my much loved S4..... and say hello to my brand new Daytona Gray RS4!! I love the Audi family and am super happy about finally owning my first RS model. I'll have some pics up soon for you guys.

I already put an order on some mods. Once they come in I'll be installing H-sport sways, KW-V3, SS lines, Short throw shifter, Milltek non-res full exhaust, K&N filter.. and possibly the Revo ecu flash.

I'm going to do dyno test results on stock and all the mods individually so I can add to the RS4's community knowledge of the actual gains we can get with each mod.

    Wish me luck guys!

    -Dave-

P.S. If anyone is interested, I have the full Labree exhaust (B7 S4) sitting in my garage... someone throw me an offer, I'm not sure what to ask for it.

Nice! Did you sell the RS4 wheels from your S4?

I'm another who has to say goodbye to the 'S' As much as I've enjoyed my S4 cab I had the opportunity to drive 2 fabulous cars, a 2007 RS4 and a 2006 E55 AMG. Both cars were exactly the same price with exactly the same milage (9k). Can you guess which one I went for? (sorry no pics yet).

Hi Dave, you follow in the footsteps of many of us. Congratulations! I just did the same thing a month ago. I can't believe that you jumped on the mod wagon so fast. I am really happy with my car in its stock form. I gonna leave it like that for a while. More power to you for the mods. For my wallet, the car is expensive enough as is as I have a slew of expenses every month so stock is no option at the moment.

Anyways, get some pis up and please, composition is important. Take it to somewhere nice for the pics. Once again Congrats!

thanks! Well the reason I decided to mod so soon is because I already have the rs4 h-sport sways from the S, also have the short shifter and the SS lines from the rs4 brakes I had. Granted that the rs4 already handles and sounds great, I just have to have the upgraded suspension... I'm crazy about insane handling.. And the exhaust, i just have to hear the rawness of the rs4 motor, can't believe how great it feels and sounds.

About the pictures, I'll takeyour advise and go to a very nice scenic area close by to take some quality pics ;)

No. E55. Both great, but the E55 is a bit more of a family sedan and easier for the wife to drive. Oh, the engine is pretty good too. Straightline speed is phenomenal , not that the RS4 was a slouch.
I really liked the RS4. It's stunning to look at and I loved the handling. If it were just for me, I would have taken the RS4.
I think this ad sums up the E55 perfectly.

Still have the 06 A6 4.2, so I shall continue to enjoy the Audi drive.
