Please read my thread on tis..

You can leave the POWER STEERING line there, or you can take off the mount, Drill a hole in the bottom of the core support and zip tie it down further to make for better fitment.

The bumper support is merely for your safety. the brackets on the sides will be more then adequate to hold the bumper up.. Notice how hard it was for you to get the bumper off..

Go use your mad skillz now yo

listen go drive away in ur supra, i finished without a problem zip ties work great, and yes i kno the side will hold the bumper on no problem but keeping it centered and no gaps is what we were goin for but its done, works, and looks great

It's pretty tough to get a bumper on your car, that hardly fits, by only using 2 hands.

lol, time out. first off. everything youve asked here has been addressed in other threads, so obviously your not good at searching.

Secondly whats does a supra have to do with this?

third, if you get the bumper in the sliders correctly you should have a problem at all with fitment, and alignment.

fourth.. Are you really trying to talk shit when you called the power steering lines, oil lines?? lol Seriously??

lol props to you mang.. that things a BITCH! I dont really understand audis thought process by that. granit it does hold well, but why not just have a slider with 2 pin style clips?? lol BMW does this on their 5 series. Its super easy, and works just as good

Mine isn't thre greatest pic but, i used a foam type material on top of the intercooler to hold up the bumper, it's the same trick my body man used when he put the bumper on the first time with the reinforcement.

still has alittle gap but i still have alot of moding to do on the bumper

Re: holy shizzah, another FMIC thread!!!!

why dont you guys just cut out the bottom and back of the bumper support and still run it? i have my fmic basically touching the top of the bumper support, bumper support on, bumper on. only problem is a slight "bulge" in the bottom of the bumper which will be addressed when i get the bumper back from paint. i'll throw some pics up when it is complete next week.

Well my bumper was made out of fiberglasses, I was able to to cat it with my dremel then sand it down with the dremel attachments.

i cut the plastic area on top of the aluminum support, and around. the bumper cutting is only like a 10-20 minute job

Re: holy shizzah, another FMIC thread!!!!

The cutting of the bumper is all dependent on how you have the setup.

Someone you may run larger pipes (like myself), which will require more cutting. And some of you might use different bumpers etc.

Re: holy shizzah, another FMIC thread!!!!

ill snap some shots of how it came out, it looks real good. angry S4 now hahaha. yeah, my pipes arent that big, they're big, but not HUGE. just that one near the AC unit has to be as AMC said cut/welded and then we could probably pop the side grilles on too without mesh!
