    Threw a set of 10mm spacers on the rear today and gave her a quick wash. Was a nice day out so had to snap some pics too. Enjoy!

    edit...check a couple replies down to see the comparison before the spacers

    So you only have the spacers on the rear? I was thinking of doing this. Will the ride and handling dynamics be affected if the spacers are only at the rear? It looks good nice pics.

    Got any better pics that show how far the rear wheels are out with the spacers?

    Yep, here you go. This photo also shows off my negative camber up front too. Its about 1.75 degrees up front and .25 negative in the back after alignment.

    Also, here is a good before and after comparison. 1st pic is before drop and spacer. 2nd is 10mm h&r spacer and Stasis C/O

    Re: Pics from today, including before after spacer comparison

    Love it. I have 12mm rear. I have a set of 15 mm ones that I'm not using because when I took off a little of negative camber the tires poked. 3mm seems like nuthing but it is!

    Now get some 8mm on your front ;)

    The downside of spacers in the front: When there's tar or other sh#t on the pavement, or when you get your tires blacked it will get you front doors dirty.

    No, you will not notice it at all while driving. The rear stance will only be 20mm (.79 inches) wider than before.

    10mm = 1cm
    2.54cm = 1in
    2.54/2.54 = 1/2.54
    1cm = .39in per spacer x2 = about .78 inches overall. Barely anything.

    Re: Pics from today, including before after spacer comparison

    I popped my front spacers (8mm) off this morning. I swear the steering felt like there was a little more feedback from the unevenness in the roads. The wheel just wasn't as smooth & seemed a little jumpy over slow speed bumps. I'm wondering if it was in my head, but in theory there is more leverage on the steering system.

    Now I'm just running the 10mm's in the back.

    Yeah, I think lowering it would help. BTW, thanks again for the spacers.

    Re: Pics from today, including before after spacer comparison

    Looks good. I was thinking of doing the spacer thing. still deciding between going for 9/9.5 wheel or just do the spacers. I know changing the wheels are going to cost a pretty pennie.....

    Suggestion?

    Not to thread jack here by any means, but i have a set of H&R 15mm spacers for sale with the correct size extended lug bolts that only have about 500 miles on them. Selling them due to buying larger wheels and they rub with my 19's. Work perfect with OEM wheels though.

    Spacers ftw! By far one of the cheapest yet most dramatic appearance enhancing mod you can do. Even spacers on my dinky 17's changes the look in the rear. Along with a drop the rear looks wider and more aggressive than a stocker. Provides quite the optical illusion.

    I had actually took your idea because i have the same 17" OEM's and did drop and put on spacers. But was just too tempted to buy wheels, so now they just sit in my garage collecting dust. But they do make a heck of a agressive look with just stock wheels.
