ya i needed a vc gasket, so i changed it. yet it still leaks in the same spot, so i put rtv on the perimeter, and it still slowly drips oil onto my cat. i hate that smell of burning oil, everytime i smell it, its like im getting haunted by slowly escaping oil

My car was leaking on the cat also, smells up the whole garage! I had to replace the cam adjuster gasket to stop it from leaking.
The inside of your motor doesn't look too bad, just clean up the valve cover and promise to change your oil every 3000 miles from now on

Can you tell us what exactly you unhooked as far as all the pcv and oil return and what not? Maybe with pics? lol

Ok so PCV Return and SAI Return have to be disconnected from the bottom...

You put sealant where ever there is a transition. Very simple...
