How to enter codes to unlock SAFE mode on stereo

Hey guys. Does somebody have instructions on entering the code that will allow me to listen to music in my car? Right now it says "SAFE" and I don't have the manual.

your code should be in the manual

on my radio you hold the rds button and the one above it, can't remember but you hold them together til the SAFE turns to 0000, then using the cd changer buttons change one digit at a time then push those 2 buttons again at the same time.

One more question...does anybody know if this security code is anywhere else on the car?
