ok, so nothing fancy, just got the bumper back on the car, i still need to seal up my joey mod lights, but this is what they look like....that and a new windshield haha......nothing special but whatever.....its actually nice enough outside to wash my car so im going to do that this evening!

i did paint the low beam rings the same color as everything else, and actually im thinking of painting the high beams too...they arent sealed yet so i think i want to do it while i can

i wouldnt be opposed to it......after all money talks! if the price was right id sell them, and i wouldnt be unreasonable and expect anything outrageous...

i never use my brights hardly ever anyway....plus an easy solution to that would be hid fogs

i think you might change your mind if you saw it without the chrome.....but maybe not.....i just feel like it sticks out too much now.....the headlight would look more complete without it i feel......im still debating haha

im going to sleep on it before i paint anything, but i really think it will look better with it painted....if someone wants to photoshop it by then, cool, but it might be a little on the harder side, but then again i know nothing about photoshop

I like it. I think you'd be disappointed if you painted the high beams. But it's your car and do what you like. What paint did you use?

Ahh ok. I did the same. The holes will come back in a couple months as dimples. The body shop which was doing this warned me that it would happen no matter what you did. There is only so much that you can do with filler agents. Not that I care, it's still better than having a front plate and the 'dimples' are barely visible. You have to be 3 feet from the bumper to notice them and you have to look closely.

well, these were just sitting in my basement for the longest time after i got my s4 headlights before i knew about the joey mod.....when i first got my car people told me there was no way to get the headlights apart without melting them, but whatever....point is that ive only been working on them in my free time as i was in no rush to get them back on my car, and as a law school student, dont have time for much of anything these days....

anyway, overall, it wasnt horrible to do, but if you are going to do it and need it done asap, set aside at least a weekend for the project to take into account all the time for the paint to dry and sealant to dry, etc.....getting the lenses of is a pita, but once you do it once, it goes a lot faster the second time....id say 30min to an hour per headlight....
