looking for a nice set of 18's

I am looking for a new set of rims for my White B6 A4 Quattro, i currently have a set of 19" Rial Daytona's, and am looking to downsize to a nice set of 18's.

my question is how are the Borbet LS rims? are they prone to bending like my daytona's? would you suggest something else like the Flik Justices in gunmetal instead?

i am also looking at tires, and with the borbet's not having a lip to them, what tire would you suggest to prevent the very very very occasional oops for when the girlfriend drives the car and parks too close to a curb, something with the curb guard lip to them.

The Type LS has been a pretty durable wheel (based on our customer feedback), and I would assume that most 18" wheels should do a little better than the 19". Most 18" tires will have some tyoe of rim protector, but they can only help in a glancing blow.

Our 18" VMR V708's are offered in a Hyper Silver, Gunmetal, & Onyx finish if you are interested. They are a 1-piece cast design and have been TRACK TESTED! and to add, some off road excursions as well. So they will stand up to daily driving conditions fine. Any wheel forged or cast can bend with any sized pothole; its just how fast you are traveling. Our wheels are JWL, VIA, ISO passed for strength and safety. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Re: looking for a nice set of 18's

thank you for the advice. i actually was able to pick up a used set of the titanium rims from a fellow audizine member. but now i have a question on the wear pattern... what wheel goes where! when the wheels were removed, they were not noted where they came off of, rf, rr, lf, lr, is there going to be an issue with them wearing faster if i put them on now and not knowing where they go on the vehicle? the tires are contisport 2's and have about 14k miles on them now.
