Need BT to take a chipped MKIV?

I'm tired of all these punk kids with their chipped MKIV GTI's.... I'm assuming I would need a BT to take one? Stage 1+ would probably barely take a stock on I guess....

Re: Need BT to take a chipped MKIV?

    Possible options:
    1. Remove your interior and spare wheel and get an awesome launch
    2. I don't think you'd need a BT a K04 should be sufficient.
    3. Relax, your in the Audi they've got something to prove to you.

The largest problem with an A4 is its power to weight ratio. $.02

Don't get me wrong, I'm incredibly glad I have an Audi and they are driving GTI's...just gets annoying, the constant reving and provoking....would just love to shut them up :)

k04 will do it without too much of an issue...depends on whether its a jetta or GTI, and what other supporting mods they have.

i know how annoying it can be...but think of it this way...how many Hondas do the same thing and you just sit there and laugh??? i know those arent the same family of vehicles...but the mentality is the same. just shrug it off and save yourself the trouble you could (and eventually will) be in with law enforcement.

this revving mentality os often age related IMO, not vehicle marque related. take the high road, keep your licence, take it to the track and let your superiror handling to those same cars (and likewise hopefully your superior judgement and driving ability) take the day.

just get a mk1 rabbit with a 2.0l 16v and you can take em. Ever seen the Top Gear where it raced a Mk4 Vr6, Seat Cupra R, and a bunch of other hatches? The Mk1 destroyed em. F1 car power to weight ratio

Drop a 1.8t in a Rabbit and Carreras need to look out.

I realize that this is about going BT....but the above can be done for the cost of taking a audi to BT safely.
