suspension modification: A4 - A6

Hey guys, I come from the VW world where suspensions can be made compatible over different generations of cars, so I was wondering if there is anything over on the audi side that would work for a 99 A6 Vanat 2.8 Q besides the A6 stuff.....it is simply TOO EASY to find A4 coilovers, I am having a tough time finding anything A6Q at a decent price. can something else be modified? I have NO experience with Audi stuff so I don't even really know geometry-wise what is close. I'm picking the new car up tomorrow.....

any info at all would be much appreciated.

Hi Austin,

Welcome to the Audi land(world).
I think you meant A6 Avant.

Unfortunately only A6/S6/RS6/Allroad's are the same chassis. RS6 and Allroad's have unique suspension so you won't find much for them. You're going to need to look for A6 susp.

Are you looking for springs, dampers/springs, coilovers...???
