You are correct. This is an OEM part which requires, I believe, two holes for mounting on either end of the trunk (I'm almost sure that I have the original mounting hardware, as well). This ensures an impeccable fit and finish. This is the real deal -- no sticky tape like those from LLTek or eBay.

I just took a look at this for the first time in awhile -- as I mentioned it's at my parents' house -- and it is still in the factory plastic! All of the hardware required for installation is there. This is an uncommon find for those of you with a B6. Usher in the summer and the advent of the warm weather with a first-class exterior mod....
