    Lightbulb b6 to b7? eh?

Hello everyone. I recently got an 2004 s4 b6 with some front end damage. The engine is perfect and runs great but things like the front bumper, head lights, hood, and both fenders all need to be replaced. Now I was wondering if these parts would fit from the b7? I mean if I switched out the b6 fenders, hood, lights, and bumper with the b7 ones. Would it work? Is the length and engine placement on the b7 same as the b6? Because if this would work, ill be all over it. XD

You will need to replace the doors, rear fenders and trunk to make it work.

Some guy on audiworld in canada did it to an A4.

wouldn't that look weird if you only did the front end? I might be wrong tho...

Well the more aggressive front end is what people like most about the B7 and the rear what they like least so it would be the best of both!

Wouldn't that look funny, aren't the creases between the fenders and doors going to be different?

Yeah, Exactly. I love the aggressive look, plus the car would confuse the hell out of my neighbors hehehe
If I don’t do the b6 to b7 conversion. I’ll definitely pick up the boser hood.

That’s what I thought at first until, I started comparing the two a little more closely

The only thing that has me concerned is the length of the hood. Its a lot longer on the b7 and I have no idea about the latch due to it.

Don't do it. If you want a new look for your front end your much better off going Oettinger, which is just pure hawtness!

I believe I know the guy who did it. I recall his post and do not think it was a straight forward job. If you want his phone number, PM me.

I don't think a phone number is really necessary heh. Maybe If he has a messenger or maybe email or something of that sort would work. I just need confirmation that this can be done with out too much custom work hah. from there on I think I should be able to figure it out

Just to keep every one upto date. After hours of comparing the two I have decided to try the conversion.

The B6 Cab front would be unique. I like the shorter overhang.

That would be cool. But I think the b7 front would have a bit more of an awesome identity crisis effect lol
