    M box is the ECU model for all 2001.5 S4 (6spd manuals). See here:

    Yes, it is interchangeable with ECU from '01 S4, but may require a cluster recode (easy to do):

    My S4 Is an 01, and has ESP and the new shift knob but still has the old badge. Does that mean that its NOT an 01.5?
    or is it possible that i still have an M-box?

    Yes, it means yours is a 2001, not a 2001.5. If yours is a 6speed, then our boxes are interchangeable. Its still available, so ket me know if you are interested asap.
