These things are dope! Piloti is Italian for "racing drivers". The grip that rolls over the heel to the back of the foot is on point! My foot stays planted at whatever angle. I would suggest you try these out sometime, at $85, it's no biggie

btw...I got my PS2s on, and they feel great! Took them up to Piuma today, along with the new shoes. Good test for them both. The tires are very responsive, and the shoes kept my feet in place. The shoes even have a reinforced area for heal-toe action. Crazy!

daily sneakers...sure, I guess. But just don't go around wasting the tread. It's there for driving. They are suede, so you shouldn't get them wet at all. They have a few styles around the same price range as mine. You can pay a little extra and go for the leather ones.

Nice - I've had a pair of Piloti's for a couple years now. They're not that great for any serious walking but for driving they're excellent.

The model I got even has Nomex liners.
I tell people that if I crash and burn at least my feet will be okay

I have these also, and yes, I do wear them as casual shoes in the summer. I spray treated mine for water protection, but they do make leather ones. The cushioning is thin, more than a topsider, but much less than a running shoe. I wouldn't want to walk all day in them, but I would drive all day in them! Mine are even fire resistant, just in case! haha Actually, it was the color combo that I wanted, not the fact that it was fire retardant.

I was totally drawn to the blue/white ones I saw at the store. Since I've love the blue/white color scheme for years, it was a no brainer. Just like this cruise bike I want to get:

hahahaha! If anything, I'm sure you can talk to customer service and exchange them for a size bigger. I've ordered shoes online before and had to do that. They already expect it.

For those of you coming into this thread late.... Griots Garage also sells these, and they have a couple of custom color combos that were made up just for them that aren't available anywhere else! Mostly reds and blacks... I disagree on the sizes running small, unless you have wide feet, these are meant to be form fitting so the shoe can be narrow.
