    Ok so my car has run perfectly without a single problem since I bought her. She has about 53K on the odometer and just today it started misfiring, loss of pwr and the check engine light came on. I'm taking it in for service tomorrow, probably going to do the 55K while I'm there too. Anyone know what could be wrong? Coil pack maybe?

    Ok never freakin mind on the 55K service at Audi. $832 - NO WAY I'm paying that much. I've read several threads on this topic, and BHVRDR has been kind enough to point out what they do for these anyway. This may be a long shot being that this isn't really a regional question, but does anyone in the San Diego area know of a reputable shop that may do this for me?

    Good call brotha, it was the number 8 cyl coil pack. Fixed under the extended warranty and all is good again.
