Im looking for some new tires for my Jeep Grand Cherokee.
I need a tire that could perform well in all seasons since I live in Chicago.
    Tire size is 225/70-16.

Check out the Bridgestone Dueler Alenza. A great tire for the Jeep. Buy four before May 10th and get $100.00 back from Bridgestone.

I've read the reviews many times but I wanted to hear from people on the board and tire experts.

I actually have the Alenza's now and although they perform well in warmer weather and in rain I cant say I get the best traction in the snow.

I was looking at the Michelin LTX M/S's or cross terrain's. They seem to rate high in every category.

    Re: All season SUV tires

we were very happy with the bridgestone dueler revo a/t's. Much better in our opionion than the BFG A/T's or General A/T's we had prior. very good in the snow, rain and still handled well on the dry (for a truck that is..)

    Dueler Revo AT

My father is running the Good year Triple tread fronterra on his truck (all highway use) and really likes them. Good in the rain, good in the dry, but he thought not as good as the dueler at revo in the snow.

    Re: All season SUV tires

I bought a pair of BF goodrich from Sams for my old cherokee and they were 10 times better than the stock Goodyears. Quieter, better ride and better wet traction. Sorry I can't recall the model so this is probably useless info, but I thought I'd chime in.

It's an SUV. Just get tires with good treadwear, unless your offroading.

My wife's Envoy came with the Cross Terrrain as OE, and then we switched to Bridgestone Alenza's. If felt the Michelin's were a little better on ice than the Bridgestone's, but the Bridgestone's are quieter IMO.

Promo started April 13th. You can try sending in the rebate info anyway (http://www.tirerack.com/images/tires...Rebate0408.pdf) and you may get lucky.

I'd write a little note expressing you disappointment at missing the rebate, but that you really really love the tires and have recommended them to friends (which I'm sure you have)

I currently have the Firestone Destination LE, which are less expensive than the Alenza's but not quite as quiet

I really suggest looking into the BFG A/T's. Awesome all around tire and they will give the jeep a much more aggressive off roady look.
