    Like the post says, I am wondering if anyone has a pic of an MTM spacer, preferably on an RS4, like the pic below. That's an H&R spacer. I need a pic of the MTM.

    If you're worried about the diameter H&R has 2 different diameters of 5x112 Audi spacers available, the ones pictured appear to be the smaller diameter.

    I am trying to see if the MTM spacers match up better than these H&R spacers. Do you see how the pacer and the mating surface isn't flush? The spacer is smaller in diameter than the surface it mates up to. Looks Cheesy!

    Really, it's not listed on their site. Can you supply a part number, diameter sizes and can you get them?

    It looks like the MTM's are tapering down to the H&R size. What side does the tapered side mate up to?

    What are the sizes of the spacers in this pic? It appears that I am looking at two different sizes.

    TIA

    The tapered side is part of the MTM on the left. The MTM's are 15mm and the H&R's are 10mm.

    I realize that but what side does that tapered side ride against? The wheel or the hub?

    The tapered side goes against the hub. And now that I think about it the H&R's are not 10mm they are 8mm. I got confused with so many spacers here.

    As of now, I would like to keep them. I always change which ones I use whenever I change wheels or even just tires. I like the tire to come out perfectly to the fender so I keep a set of 2's 4's 5's 8's 10's 12.5's and 15's. Yes, I know thats crazy

    Well as a company MTM>H&R, but in terms of spacers I have used MTM, H&R and ECS and I did not have any problems with any of them. Just make sure you buy longer bolts to go with your spacers.

    H&R and it took me twice to get it right. They have more than one spacer liste for our cars and you have to know some sizes of your cars mating surfaces or the back of the wheel

    I got a set of ECS from Fortrell and I have the same concern as you in that they do not have sufficient diameter to mate flush with the stock RS4 wheel and the rear hub and rotor. I am concerned that they are kind of stressing the wheel and hub so they will have to go, maybe they fit a S4 (are the hubs different?).I am thinking of the MTM's but was wondering if anybody knows if they are of sufficient size as well?

    TIA

    Hey LP, you got the wrong spacers on your car. They are going to cause vibrations if not now then probably sometime down the road. Whoever sold them to you should bite the bullet and take them back. Since they are not returnable once mounted on the car, you are going to have to fight them to get your way. If no return is possible, you can sell them to another S4 or
    zzzzA4 owner whe doesn't require the larger diameter. You shouldn't have to do this though. They sold you the wrong spacers and should stand behind their business knowledge. If they don't trash 'em.

    This is what you need to do. Go to H&R's web site and source out your spacers. When you get there, you will see some footnotes designated by numbers, 3, 18 and 24. click on 24 and it will list the larger diameters for use on the RS4. You need these part numbers ad not the ones that you got.

    Footnote
    24 If the hub face of your vehicle is 150mm (most vehicles have 135mm hub face), alternative spacers are available. Please see list below.
    DR = 8mm 162555719
    DR = 10mm 202555713
    DR = 12mm 242555713
    DR = 15mm 302555716
    DR = 20mm 402555716
    DRA = 20mm 4025572
    DRA = 25mm 50255712
    DRA = 30mm 60255712

    Re: Need pic of MTM spacer mounted on car.

    I ran 8mm spacers on my S4 for a while...could never get them to fit just right. Slight vibration through the seat indicated that they weren't fitting properly. Probably not the best size to go with. 5mm and 10mm seem to fit better....or just get yourself a 9 or 9.5 inch wide wheel with an aggressive offset that will fit.
