    i am looking for a new flex pipe online and have a question, can aluminized ends be weldered to ss or mild steel?

    yes it can be welded, its a coating on the steel pipe similar to a galvanic coating

    you might want to grind the coating off at your weld area

    possible, but not simple.

    the best way of doing this is probably to use a transition insert.
