What can I use to rid of the fine scratches on the windshield and the windows? I need to know what polish and pads to try on the rotary. Thanks!

I asked the same questions a while ago but with no clear answer I'm still interested to see what people suggest.

I use a light compound and a Green LC pad.

Not plastic safe. You can burn through, and it will scuff/stain it with the polish. On glass it works well. I've been using light compound+Green pad for about 8 months with amazing results.

Yes, Glas Polish has abrasives for glass and mirrors. Do not use Glas Polish on plastic including plastic windows.

In our line of polishes, Paint Polish "Lack-Politur" (the green can) is the closest thing we have to a plastic polish and it's excellent. You can use on clear acrylics, convertible plastic windows, and even to remove scratches on CD/DVDs. Remember that paint on a car is essentially plastic. Paint Polish, which is formulated to remove fine scratches and swirl marks on paintwork will do the same on plastic components.
