It was taken with a 8MP digital. I'm not sure why its so grainy, if there is anyone who does know I'll gladly take advise.

Might have the ISO setting too high. If there is no setting, the camera may automatically default to a high ISO setting because of the low-light (night) environment.

A shaky hand wouldn't cause grain, it would blur the image.

To reduce the grain in a picture, reduce the ISO. This however results in less light captured by the camera. You can offset this by slowing down your shutter speed to keep it open longer. For good, clear night shots, it's best to use a tripod with a delayed shutter and low ISO.

What's with all the questions... I just right click the photo, select image properties and get all the info; Camera make and model, ISO speed, shutter speed, aperture, software used to edit, etc... Both of those shots are at ISO 800, something a bellow average consumer digicam like this Olympus used here, can't handle without a shitload of chroma noise.

quat, before you learn to use Photoshop, learn to get the best out of your camera. And use a tripod.

    Re: PhotoChoped

I did use a tripod... And while it would be nice, I can't really afford to go and buy a top of the line camera. Whats strange is I had an HP digital camera, (HP = Computers in my mind.) And it took better pictures than this Olympus. Too bad all three of the HP's I had broke after a weeks worth of use.

Interesting, when I right click and select properties, I don't get any of that information.

Touche. But I'm usually on my work computer so there's no option for me to change.
