As many of you know, Freddie Apodaca; formerly of Livermore Audi opened his own Audi/VW shop in Brentwood, CA. Having owned 2 A4's and currently a S6 Avant as well as a 1992 GTI 16V, I have come to know Freddie pretty well over the years. He has replaced transmissions, water pumps, dealt with electrical issues, on my cars while working at Livermore. Freddie is one who will tell it to you straight. Freddie is serious about his tools. Check out this massive box!!

I recently dropped the old GTI 16V off for some diagnostics. I had installed a set of Autotech Cams a couple of years ago and the car has never been right since then. After much diagnosis, Freddie determined that Autotech had a bad set of cams. Autotech sent me a new set cams, which Freddie installed. We are now ready do some racing!!!
Whether you need to have cams replaced or that new custom Nuespeed or Milltek exhaust installed, Freddie can handle it.

A week after that, the S6 outer CV boot started to leak. If it isn't one thing it is another. Freddie took care of that in an hour or so.


Make sure if you spend the money on Stoptech Brakes to pay the extra $$ for cad plating...

To sum it up, give Freddie a call. It is worth the drive to Brentwood as he will save you some green over working with the dealership.

bump! Freddie just put on my slotted/drill rotors. Very reasonable price. Very easy going and knows his shit about Audis. Well worth the drive to Brentwood.

I was even able to stand next to him to watch what he was doing. Very cool guy. Nice to have a master tech who is also an enthusiast.
