Yes. Also Audi 80s and Audi 90s. The test car I used was a quattro during development. There may be more as well. 034 would know that answer

No it does not. This is not necessary on 5 speeds with reverse all the way right and down, even Audi dumped it on the 99.5 and up 5 speeds and all major manufacturers like honda, ford, etc have no lockout with that 5 speed pattern. The reverse lockout contributes to some of the slop as well. As for the 01E transmissions with reverse next to 1st, yes we keep it on those.

Here is a review 034 Motorsport already received.

Link to it here --> http://www.034motorsport.com/product...&reviews_id=34

    Quote of it
I drove the car for about 30 minutes last night after a simple install and it seems to perform very nicely. I was impressed with the solid feel and the accurate shifts that the unit makes versus stock and versus the legendary "billzcat" improved oem short shifter which I have drove with for 5 years. The throws were noticeably shorter and there was a lot less play while the shifter was in each gear. There is the option to remove one of two spacers to lengthen the throws if you do not like the super short option. It is very well made and worth every penny.

    Nice to see the interest.

Good to hear. If I can find the time this winter I will be making a linkage upgrade to make it even tighter. Got ideas, but trying to find one that is going to keep the price down. Your linkage setups are garbage on those cars and not easy to modify without replacing a lot of parts which means more $$.

Yeah they suck to adjust since the darn adjustment bolt is under the car and the driveshaft is right in the way to lock it down in nuetral and on center. So you have to jack it up to get it adjusted again. That is why we machined a slot on the aluminum base so you can move it right and left a little for small adjustments if you are close.
