    Re: aftermarket switches?

i would suggest getting 2 of those aftermarket switches on ebay.. the ones that go next to the ESP button.. should be 2 blank spots there if you dont have the power curtains. i plan on doing that with in the next month with my subwoofer install..

    Re: aftermarket switches?

I've seen a few guys putting buttons thru the shift surround between the shifter and ashtray. Gotta keep it low profile so the ashtray will clear it.

    Inside the center armrest?
steering column, under or on the side?
near the cubby that the owner's manual sits in? I have my radar detector controls there on mine.

    Re: aftermarket switches?

on my a4, i put a switch under my ebrake.. it was sick as hell, but on the a6, i feel like it might be alot harder because of the e brake covers... im debating there, and then trying under the steering column

    Re: aftermarket switches?

Oh that 's something I hadn't considered. The thin trip strip to the left of the ebrake. You CAN go right through that. All those pieces are easy to remove, and its a spot that is fairy stealthy for everyone because the armrest hides it. You'd have to know it was there to even look.

    Re: aftermarket switches?

yea i am pretty sure im going to just do it there, or the cubby under the brake handle. thats how i did with the a4, i had a black with blue led toggle switch and it looked awesome.. just dont get a cheap one, spend the extra 5 bucks and get a quality one ha
