Okay, I'm about to order my winter setup tires and this will be the first time I've had the tires off on my new USP.

With all the friggin sh*t I'm gonna have to go through with the jack/jack points and my floor jack, one less headache is worth the price.

yeah the 14mm ones will def fit any b5. older audis like the 4000 and maybe some others use the 12mm.

So what is the real advantage/disadvantage to having lug bolts vs. lug studs ?? since audi is superior and went this route =)

I have an Audi 90Q and I noticed the tool you were selling. Thats great that your dad is making those for everyone and it IS useful. The basis of my question is that I recently, (since I upgraded to 13" rotors and big reds up front) added lug studs so that i didnt have to fumble with the whole aligning the holes deal whenever i put my wheels back on.

So other then the disadvantage with the cost of buying them is there really anything else ?

No. I just think European Auto Makers went this route because sliding the wheels on and off of the car with studs may cause damage to the wheel and the studs. With bolts there is no problem. So yeah the only disadvantage is buying the conversion kit.
