Has anyone ordered euro headlights from AWE?

So I ordered the euro headlight housings from AWE in January of this year and they still are on backorder. Apparantly Valeo has shut down production of the headlights because until the USD gets stronger they will not be able to meet costs of producing them in Europe, since the dollar is worth about .62Euros . I was just wondering if any one else has ordered these from AWE and is having the same issues...

I just bought them last night. How did you find out they are on back order, the web site said nothing about that?

Well it took about three or four months of calling every couple of weeks to actually get that answer from someone at AWE. It sounds like they have little communication with Valeo and what I was told, for all I know, could have just been a guess. Not like it should matter, but which housings did you order, single-xenon or bi-xenon??

I tried calling them last night but they had already closed, i'm gonna call them in about an hour and see what they say

They must have caller ID because i always have to call a few times to get them to answer haha. I'd say I call them about twice a month ha! I'll keep trying.

This is BS. I never would have bought these if I thought it would take 6 months to get them.

Yea, youre telling me! Hopefully you wont have to wait as long as I have been waiting. Who even knows if there gonna show up before summer officially gets here... I'm calling them back right now!

I wish I could take the S and do this all the way to Germany to get them myself

i stopped by and picked them up in the fall, iirc. they are there. leave them a message. if everyone is on the phone, it takes the caller to the message service. they're pretty good at returning calls.
