How long can a set of tires be stored and still be completely safe and useable on a vehicle? Two years as long as they are in a dark cool environment?

I dunno man but I bought some old ass tires for cheap once, and I swear they were made of plastic . If I had had them on the S4 I coulda done four wheel burnouts all day . hehe I dunno, sorry, not really much help here, just thought I'd throw that out there.

You can also apply your example to a spare tire and they say you should replace that every 8 to 10 years.
