    STaSIS Performance...HELP!!

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Apparently, unless I use stasis performance parts and get the work done by my audi dealership, my warranty is voided. I bought a '04 a4 that was certified pre-owned so it came with a 2 year, 50K warranty.

Is it worth voiding the warranty to use other parts or is stasis good enough. That said, I've been on the website and can't find their ECU Chip for a B6 A4...does anyone know if one exists for them???

i know if you get the touring or challenge edition packages they come with tuned ECUs (although not as aggressive as REVO, APR, or GIAC). I think it is a detuned giac.

it all depends on what you get and where you get it done. A few audi shops in nor cal sell stasis products and warranty them. Lets say you get coilovers and the audi dealership is also a stasis dealer. If something breaks you are covered under warranty by either audi or stasis. (yes stasis has a good warranty)

So really there are not to many issues w/stasis. My stassis coilovers were installed by BrRacing and had some vibration issues not to long ago and Audi grumbled about the suspension but still fixed the problem. BrRacing is in the south bay in your neck of the woods btw.

Stasis is great, go for it!

P.S. Even if you got the Stasis Parts installed at a non Audi dealership the WORST they could do was void the suspension and subframe part of the audi warranty.

EDIT::: I thought you were talking suspension. If your going with performance go with one of the big tuners like Revo, APR, Etc... they are all about the same and have the ability to be turned off when you go in for service. The dealer will never know you have the "chips" so long as they are off when taking it in. For ultra stealth go in and get a new 710N diverter valve, its the one on the tt225 and will hold up well on a chip tune. there only like $50 shipped from ECS.

    thanks for the help guys
i looked at stasis and called my audi guy and he told me that they are detuned so i wasn't going to do that.
then i called APR and they told me that its really easy to take the chip in and out so the dealership wont know. thanks for the help
