Sorry it was most likely a V6, I have a very hard time keeping up with a GT at the track and I have alot more HP than a stock A4

Naaa! He was on it....However, Dallas is lower in altitude versus 5,280 above sea level (in Denver); and so, naturally assspirated engines lose HP whereas Turbos don't...

You do realize the vast majority of people on this forum don't have the means to actually go to a racetrack? Does that condone reckless street racing? No, but its one hell of a weak argument.

For those who don't know, Denver is high enough that a stock 2.0T faster than a 3.2 Audi. The differences between N/A motors and turbo ones become greater as altitude increases.

I don't know what the 2TFsi is capable of but the a4 B7 1.8 doesn't start like the b5 so i suppose u wer just lucky i can't even pass a seat or a peugeot simply because the brake pedal has so F@cking lag but after i sprint boosted my car it was different but to start faster than a mustang ? You say a "modern" Mushtang GT. But that could mean a Mushtang from the previous gen that had a good deal less HP/torque.

I believe that the current model is the 10th gen. I know the 10th gen and the 9th gen. will blow the doors off an A4. However, if it's a 8th gen., I could definitely see how he kept up and at the same time I would wonder how he didn't beat its ass. The 8th gen. GT's are 225 HP, slow as fuck!

Yeah so ? In my B5 i'm able to smoke any stock b7 2.0T simply because the b7 is drive by wire so the lag is greater than the old b5.
I produce slightly less than 200hp on the wheels and trust me ther isn't even 1 stock 2.0Tfsi who can pass me from 0-100

At denver, the generally accepted factor for altitude loss is 15%. So, if you have a 300hp mustang, in Denver it will be 255. You would still need a chipped 2.0T to be in the same league.
