Question stock radio/mp3 player won't play LONG mp3 files???

06 s4 anniv edition - just got it one week ago.

the mp3 player will play music mp3 normally from my 2 gig SD card.

It won't play long mp3 audio (stern bootlegged off limewire from sirius - no i didn't hook up the sirius system yet, still catching up on old stern)

The long audio mp3 is definitely saved and burned as mp3 file format.

the navi screen doesn't even show that these files are on the SD card. It treats them as if they are not on the SD card, but they are, i've doublechecked.

anybody know why this doesn't work? I suspect it is because the file is so long (4-5 hours of audio in "one track")

thanks, any help or insight is much appreciated.

Make sure that the file name if less than 64 characters and that the ID3 tag is not corrupted.

update: that worked - the file name was too long - shortening it led to normal playability

    thanks for the help audia4b6us
