I tried, he was local....i even had them sitting in my garage monday night, when he came to pick up the check yesterday, he said he had another buyer that offered several hundred more.....

but thats why im trying to find another set, so i can get them refinished either exactly like that or something very close to it...the place that did those is local too....

^yeah... that's pretty messed up. you shoulda told him to go screw himself and take his check. that'd be like if you drove your car home from the dealer and they called you back and said they found someone else who was willing to pay sticker price so they needed the car back..

you went through a lot to find those, you deserve to have kept them.

yup, thats what happened.....the reason i didnt pay him the night he dropped them off was because i wanted to get them tested for bends before i paid for them and he agreed i could....then he came to pick up the check and took them back

I'm afraid I would've had to keep them or at least do a serious beat down on the dude! I'm so sick of dealing with jerks over car parts. That is totally screwd man.
