Question about the DIS?????

I have a 2006 audi a4 2.0t quattro w/ premium and convenience packages. I don't have a color information display but rather the black/red one. All i ever see on it is 1 feature (distance to empty)... When looking at the audi website for standard features I see listed that the DIS includes:

"Five-function trip computer (timer / miles-to-empty / average MPG /
average MPH / instant MPG)"

I was wondering if there was a way to toggle through the settings? Did they upgrade this feature in 2007 when they changed the radio?

The color display, as well as the trip computer (MPG, driving time, etc) is all a part of the technology package. If you don't have the package, you can't get the display to show multiple colors or the trip information, unless you start swapping out parts.

on the audi website it has those features listed under the regular 2 color display and not part've any package or color display...

the button on the bottom of the wiper stalk toggles display.

have you tied looking in your owners manual. it is a binded 100 page (approx.) page booklet usually kepted in the the glove compartment

yes im familiar with the manual. i guess in 2007 they upgraded the standard DIS along with the stereo......................

DIS didn't change in 07. Sounds like you don't have the trip computer.
