    '04 2.7t trany problem??????

Hey, well, my '04 2.7t tip started finaly, but after a short test drive my budy find out it shifts kind of funky. Under normal driving conditions when you step on the gas, engine will rev up a bit and then it will engage in the gear. I gues kind of like sleaping or something. Its not to bad but noticable. My budy said that its probably comp, maybe need to be replaced or just calibrated. Is there such a thing though? I think maybe its trany going or something in that quatro system? Any opinions? And if its trany, can it be rebuild or has to be replaced? How much will that run me?
By the way car was flooded priveously and has 43k miles, maybe that will help. All the fluids were changed couple of days ago. Thanx for any help!
