Getting the car sprayed today, advise/opinions needed

im bringing my car in tonight to get the roof sprayed high gloss black. i was just looking at the car and thought i might try something i havent seen before.... so some opinions are needed.

im thinking of painting the greyish/blackish on the rear bumper to match the roof (high gloss black). i think it would look good, yet i think it may be a little much.

what do you think?

(not my car, but only pic i could find close up)

my rear looks more grey than this one, but just as a reference.

matte black is sexy but in won't create a nice uniform look coloring wise if IMO you have a sunroof.

thanks. wish there were so more of the rear. although Ocean is a much darker color than Nogaro. i had a USP in ocean.

My roof is high-gloss black on my silver s4, I had black window trim, mirrors, wheels, ect... done as well.

I had the Rear bumper made all silver as well, which i also would recommend (as in color match to the car).

I say go for it because it is TEH SEXOR, and really makes my car stand out.

I think the gloss black on the S4 diffuser would draw too much attention. I had my S4 rear diffuser done in a matte black as I don't really like the greyish color of the stock plastic.

Matte or nothing, truthfully gloss black would look unsophisticated and tacky. The point of it even being there is that the bumper wouldn't noticeably get carbon build up from the exhaust, or at least thats the inspiration to the styling. I just don't think gloss would achieve a worth while look.

I discussed it with the guy doing the work and after walking around the car, holding some already sprayed parts up to the rear and comparing. I agree with you, i think it'll look tacky or a little overkill. Im just gonna spray it black. no gloss. if i dont like, ill have it wetsanded and glossed. as far as the roof goes, im unsure now if i want it high gloss, or more of the "orange peel" look like the factory paint. are there ANY NOGARO out there with painted roofs?!?!?!
