    Major start-up issue

I would greatly appreciate any ideas for this problem that I have before I take my car to the mechanic.

I have been out of town for 4 days, so when I left to go to work this morning, my car had not been driven all weekend. I tried to unlock it with my remote and it wouldn't do anything. I thought that was a little wierd. I manually unlocked it and when I went to crank up, I didn't get anything. No lights, no ignition sounds, nothing. It's not the battery because I just replaced it about three weeks ago. At first I was thinking that it was the alternator, but that wouldn't affect the keyless entry. Does anybody have any ideas? Also, I'm not sure if this is related, but I just had a sub and amp installed by Circuit City before I had any trouble. Could they have done something that might affect it? Thanks for your help.

    Re: Major start-up issue

your new battery might be drained by something left on....a light. I would try jumping it or replacing the battery. CC might have messed up a connection and something is staying on. Like the Amp. Just an idea.
