    How much should I be looking to save? 2007 A4 2.0T Quattro vs 2008 A4 2.0T Quattro?

    Hi,

I have my test drive scheduled for later this afternoon. In the event I like the car (which I am hoping to), should I opt for a 2007 or 2008?

I "must" have Quattro, Navigation, & Bluetooth. I dont want to mess with aftermarket BT or Navi.

My current ride (2003 Passat GLX 4Mo) is running fine. If I ended up keeping it much longer I will have to put a new timing belt in, so time isnt an issue but I wouldnt mind keeping the $1k for the repairs in my pocket.

So, with timing not being a huge factor, how much should I be looking to save on going from a new 2008 SE with my options vs finding a 2007 low mileage (under 20K) of the same flavor?

Right now I have a quote for a 2008 SE with navi, BT & Conv Package for $500 over invoice (37,273 + tax & tags)

I know its not an apples to apple comparison (I do want the leather seats & heated is good too) as the SE is a little nicer.

The new SE has 2.9% financing as well. I am not sure how the user ones do.

    Thanks,
    Rich

My 06 I bought a month ago had teh 2.9% financing as well and I basically have the same thing you do just that I don't have the nice SE wheels. Lol if you want to see a comparison of prices there was a thread that everyone posted how much they bought their cars for but I forgot the name

http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php?t=199663 -- is that the thread?

I keep looking online at the local audi dealers around me to see their inventory. I cant quite tell from the descriptions but most 10-15K mileage A4's seem to be going for about 31K (with Navi & BT & Quattro).

I think for that much I would rather shell out another 5k or 6k & go for new with exactly what I want. I realize I could get them down a bit in their asking prices but I am not sure its worth the hassle.

I cant seem to find any 25K 2007's with under 20K miles with my options.

Whats the best way to search? Start calling dealers?

if u get a 2007 CPO, that will be a better warranty than when you get a new car...

i got my 06 QTM6 for 28k CPO with 14k miles in June 07, and its equipped with navi, bluetooth, adaptive xenons, rain sensing wipers, wood panels, front and rear heated seats, pwr seats, etc... it wouldve cost me 38k if it was brand new

if you look around, im sure you will be able to fins something with those options

what i did was search stealerships from a 50 mile radius of my house and then looked thru their cpo inventory. found something i liked and then searched to see if the dealership is good/complaints and such. and then i would call and tell that rep that you want "blah blah blah" on the car and have him search either his lot or any around in which he could get and pray for some luck

I am having a hard time finding information about the options on the cars from the audi website. I cant seem to find if they have navigation or bluetooth, or any other packages. The details are very light.

    Looking here:

    http://www.newcountryaudi.com/Vehicl...showImages=yes

I search for A4 2007 & with Quattro. 17 vehicles show up. how do I tell what has navigation or bluetooth?

This one: http://www.newcountryaudi.com/VehicleDetails/885070124 is going for 30K but who knows what it has (specific packages arent listed).
