Gonna be getting an Audi A3 soon!
Hi everyone!
Just wanted to say that this forum looks great, and I'm very happy to join this community! I'm going to be picking up an Ibis White 2.0T Audi w/ DSG soon after I sell my current Acura CL. I'm actually very sad to sell it as it was my first and I've had GREAT memories in it, but in the end it's just a very old car and as much as I would've loved to keep it forever, it's just not financially feasible.
The A3 that I'm looking to pick up will come with Open Sky, Titanium Pkg, S-line Pkg, Bi-xenon Headlights, iPod interface, and Convenience Pkg. As far as pricing, still waiting to sell my current car before I sit down with the pen and paper, but the MSRP is $33,910. I chose this car over a fairly basic BMW 328 Coupe as this car is $4000 cheaper MSRP-wise and is only slightly slower than the 328. I believe it also gets better MPGs and has a 5-star crash rating and 2 more doors, which translates to cheaper insurance! I will definitely need that as a 20-year old Asian male lol.
I will be posting pics as soon we I get it! I just wanted to know, how much would I be looking to pay for the car after negotiating? Not including tax and other fees, would $32,000 sound decent, or do they not go that low?
As far as mods go, I probably won't be doing anything as I don't want to void my warranty and I've kind of decided that I'm too old to be dumping money into my car (I've learned the hard way with my current car, you never get back the money you put into it :( ). I'm going to take any extra money I have and probably throw it into a Roth IRA anyway.
But yeah, just wanted to drop by and say hello and I look forward to meeting you guys in the future at the SoCal meets and such! Thanks for taking the time to read this heh.
