Two things that have been buggin me...

I have come to notice how heavy and non smooth the throttle has became recently. After changing my oil about 1000 miles ago my throttle and car felt so smooth. I also just recently upgraded to the samco tbb and 710n's and checked for boost leaks but it all seems good to go.I just did the 80k service about 5k ago too. The car just feels so SLUGGISH recently!Anything to look out for or replace?

Another concern I have would be the handbrake light coming coming on whenever i go WOT at higher speeds. Obviously the handbrake is all the way down. Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance!

For the handbrake, the brake fluid may be low. When it shifts at speed it might be triggering the sensor.

The handbrake doesn't depend on fluid.

That light isn't a handbrake light, it's a brake light. And yes, low fluid usually is the cause when the light comes on under acceleration.

Have you VAG'd the car? Do you have a boost gauge?

What do you mean by sluggish? Do you have boost still? Are you slow to start? What?

Thats what I meant, the brake light that comes on when the handbrake is triggered.

Re: Two things that have been buggin me...

    Thanks for the replies.

Ill be checking the brake fluid this weekend and ordering some spark plugs. Im sure that will make a difference.

I also have some whistling type noise whenever the car spools. Whistles as the car starts to boost and whenever I let of throttle. I just got two brand new turbos and changed out tbb and dv's but the whistling still persists. The whistling type noise keeps on getting louder every day it seems. I know it has to be a boost leak somewhere bc every time I go WOT,the car hesitates. I don't know what else it would be but I cant seem to find that leak. No i don't have access to a vag-com as of yet. No boost gauge yet. Both on order right now. What could i check in the meantime?

    TIA

^ Don't be going wot till you get that sorted out. It sounds like someone forget to hook up a line and you have a boost leak when they did your install. Going wot will fry those ko3s fast when you have a boost leak.

^2nd. Do a boost leak test ASAP. Don't go WOT until you do.
