Special Thanks to the Audi Community and Justin Ballou

A while back I had an issue where I did some damage to my engine. To make a long story short, the dealer wanted $7000 to fix it and I about puked when I heard the estimate.

Then I talked to S4Alan on this site and he referred me to Justin Ballou. Justin who lives in Temecula, CA, not only fixed my car better than it was before, for about half the price, but he also helped me sell off a few of my mods to help pay for the repair!

I was planning on trading in the car for something under warranty, but I really like this car and may hold on to it for a while. If it was a Manual I'd keep it forever.

Anyway, it's really cool to meet great people such as Justin. I give him my highest recommendation for quality work at a very fair price.

Glad it worked out. And thanks for the deal on the sways. Of course Justin knows these cars well, it's great to know he can take care of my car when he can find time in his busy schedule.

Chevy truck smashed into my car at his estimated 45mph while I was stopping for traffic. Car held up like a champ, seatbacks broke, roof buckled, but I walked away with absolutely no injuries. And of course, the Idiot had no insurance

Notice the nice bondo! It was 3/16" in some spots!

it's kind of funny how your exhaust tips look fine. In fact, it's pretty badass. Truck stack-esque.

lol, NO they don't "allow" it haha.
Alan's stuff was covered... I got a brief tutorial about sweet-talking.

And for OP, Justin did the work on my car. He's a perfectionist and my car was better than perfect when he was finished. Even when a couple dilemmas came up, we worked it out and everyone was happy in the end. He fixed some bad wiring, bad 02 sensor, stripped threads, bad bolts, and even steam cleaned my engine bay

The exhaust is actually on my avant!

I did tell Chris on how to get 7k more from insurance...be patient and sweet talk the cigarette smoking old lady that handles your payout claim. Always make it about her day initially...then ease in with I'm just trying to replace what was taken away from me..no more..no less.

My car lives on in many other San Diego based S4s

    Hey Alan,

Thank you. Enjoy the sways. By the way, saw your Avant at Justin's and I'm jealous.

    Jason,

Yeah, I am enjoying them. I did some spiritied driving while on the way to Fallbrook. I was actually checking your car out and Justin said it drove great and is a good car. I 'm thinking it would be a good car for the wife, but she wants an SUV. Hope everything is going good for you.
